Clients -- My clients are business women in Minneapolis/St. Paul, women at all levels of leadership. They appreciate my background in psychology, as well as my career counseling and executive/leadership coaching expertise. My clients also enjoy complete confidentiality -- When you hire me as your coach, I serve you, not your organization. In contrast, many executive coaches work with both the organization and the person being coached as clients, increasing the potential for conflicting agendas to be at play.
Client Transitions -- My clients have successfully worked through many challenges and goals, including:
* Finding a more meaningful career that better fits their interests and strengths.
* Negotiating for greater flexibility, a promotion or a raise.
* Gaining the confidence to move up to a new position.
* Making career changes based on new realities (e.g., children, divorce, mounting stress).
My First Client -- Like many women, I take my career very seriously. When I became a parent, I could not find the type of job that would allow me to use my skills and contribute, but also have enough time for my other roles. To help myself and other moms achieve greater work/life flexibility, I started Balancing Act for Moms LLC in 2002. After my second daughter was born, I put my business on hold and worked part-time for management consulting firms and for Target Corporation. In 2006, I went back out on my own. Now, I offer executive and career coaching to all professional women (mothers and others), doing business as Genuine Impact Consulting.
